Absent ANY evidence that the fact that the driver was an Uber driver had any role whatsoever in motivating him to kill 6 people in cold blood, I fail to see the basis for consistently identifying him as an Uber driver.

    Dear Uber,
Please include a question on your employment app that asks if the applicant has any plans to randomly shoot people while working.

    Problem solved.

Jack, this doesn’t give many Uber riders a warm, fuzzy feeling.

I’d bet my life savings that Jack’s post was a joke and should not have been taken seriously

One thing forgotten in this story: the driver was previously a claims adjuster. That alone is cause to evaluate this person’s sanity. Uber question #2, have you ever been a claims adjuster?

Aside from this waste of life being “on the clock” with Uber, why is his affiliation with Uber a story at all? Seems like the taxi lobby is pushing this as “news” to their sick advantage. I hope Americans don’t fall for this and see this guy only as an insane, terrorist psycho.

      UW Supreme,
High five, we agree! Why is Uber even mentioned. Should just be terrorist maniac drove around and shot random people. That is the story. Nothing to do with Uber at all.

Sorry, second line beginning ‘Why’ should have been punctuated with a question mark, fingers are in a hurry today.

Because he was driving around murdering people, and also using a company’s service to pick up people who sat in his car.

The guy is sick. Uber had no way of knowing. If it was a taxi driver, would the taxi industry be getting this level of scrutiny? Stupid article.
