Edward Emmer, former head of the corporate finance group, will head the new organization, which is being called the Capital Markets Focus Group until a new name is chosen.
Ratings for financial institutions and insurance companies will also be brought under one roof and called the Financial Services Group.
Also, Vladimir Stadnyk, former chief of the public finance division and current executive managing director, will head a new initiative to explore e-commerce opportunities for all of S&P’s ratings.
