Celebrating its first anniversary, new U.S. insurance technology player Policy Master Inc. will hold its Annual Users’ Conference in Denver, Colo., from Oct. 15-17, 2000. The event’s theme—”Convergence and Beyond”—represents the coming together of its two user bases (users of DOS-based APS software and users of Windows-based GAAS software), as well as the futuristic outlook presented by various high-profile speakers.
Speakers include: Kevin Kelly, finance industry manager NA, Microsoft Limited; Dave Rucker, CEO, Interstate Insurance Company; Tam Seto, manager, insurance industry NA, Compaq Computer Corporation; and Jim Roe, principal, Arlington/Roe, and former president of AAMGA.
The international Policy Master technology group acquired MGA software specialist Insurance Business Solutions last year. Policy Master launched its Sirius company administration and accounting software and its GEMINInet electronic P&C comparative rating engine at the IASA 2000 Conference.
