In a move to manage and grow its expanding business development efforts, iwix.net, an Internet-based specialty insurance marketplace, recently appointed Timothy C. Woodhull as senior vice president of sales and business development.
Woodhull, who began his insurance career at Johnson & Higgins, brings more than 20 years of insurance experience on both the carrier and broker sides of the business. Prior, he was senior vice president at Willis New York and vice president at Johnson & Higgins New York, where he had proven track records in growing and managing large national accounts and developing new business in the New York area.
Earlier this quarter, iwix.net also hired Internet marketing professional Julie Garrett as senior VP of marketing. Garrett is a senior level technology executive with diverse experience in marketing, product development and product management. She comes to iwix.net from Inso Corp., where she headed product development and marketing activities.
