Progressive Corp. customers can now make insurance payments, find local agents and get information about Progressive products by connecting to progressive.com using Web-enabled cellular phones.
In a recent survey, Progressive found that consumers would be more loyal to insurance agents who offer features like 24/7 service and instant, online policy access. The result: Earlier this week, progressive.com became the first auto insurance Web site available on the Sprint PCS Wireless Web.
This gives more than one million Sprint PCS customers instant access to progressive.com, where they can get information about Progressive products and use the site’s “Find an Agent” feature to locate nearby independent agents.
This most recent technology first builds on Progressive’s record of introducing features that seek to meet consumer demand and help independent agents keep and retain customers.
