St. Paul Surplus Lines Insurance Co. a St. Paul Companies subsidiary, introduced an enhanced medical liability product for physicians and surgeons that will be available in Georgia beginning July 1, and the company is exploring the possibility of introducing the new product in other states.
The new product will be the only St. Paul medical malpractice product available for physicians and surgeons in Georgia. It combines professional liability with a variety of other coverages, including property/casualty for physician office exposures and employment practices liability.
A leading medical malpractice insurer, Minnesota-based St. Paul said it remains committed to serving physicians and surgeons, as long as it can do so profitably.
