The Hartford Financial Services Group was honored with the AL3 Upload Company of the Year award for total agent implementations and an XML Implementation Champion award presented during a ceremony at the ACORD Technology Conference 2001. In addition, Travelers Insurance and IVANS Inc. were recognized as 2001 XML Implementation Champions.
According to ACORD, the XML Implementation Champion Award for Property-Casualty reflects the deep commitment the company has shown in helping to create and promote a real- time, standards-based Internet protocol for the insurance industry.
The AL3 Upload Company of the Year Award is for being the company with the greatest number of agents using a nonproprietary ACORD standard interface, often referred to as SEMCI (single-entry, multi-company interface), to transact and process business.
