TowerStreet, a division of AMS Services Inc. and a provider of Internet-based rating and underwriting, added a pair of companies to its list of marketing partners — idNET and Web Application Marketing Management and Consulting (WAMMAC).
idNET provides agency-branded service applications, enabling policyholders to access agency databases via the web or telephone and to process change requests and/or issue insurance forms. IdNET’s work includes community-oriented, interactive sites and custom designs, which are viewable at www.goidnet.com.
Staffed with veterans of the technology and business sides of the insurance industry, idNET’s is the only vendor application currently endorsed by The AMS Users’ Group, the Independent Insurance Agents of America (IIAA), and several insurance carriers. idNET also has successfully implemented TowerStreet’s QuoteNETWorks.
WAMMAC offers expertise in insurance e-business development, channel development, distribution strategies, and marketing. WAMMAC’s five concentrations are establishing e-business strategies; ensuring integration between online and off-line activities; drawing and retaining visitors to websites; defining requirements for maintaining e-business; and outlining measurement and ROI criteria.
Ed Olsen, senior vice president and general manager of AMS rating products, noted that whether an agency wants to make a successful business better, needs help with e-business, or needs to create a website, the company’s marketing partners offer services to help. Olsen added that all of the company’s marketing partners have Internet expertise specific to insurance agencies.
