(AIG) and a provider of insurance systems and solutions, introduced WINS® Digital, web-based property-casualty insurance processing software that offers insurers the ability to improve customer service and workflow efficiencies, while providing unlimited access to information and the capacity to meet both immediate and long-term system needs.

WINS Digital is developed on the business rules of WINS, a fully integrated, highly flexible and time-tested insurance processing application, while employing today’s technologies, including WebSphere, Java, HTML and XML. WINS Digital is specifically designed for the IBM iSeries integrated platform that provides a foundation for the deployment of e-commerce solutions while ensuring reliability and scalability with optimum performance and security. WINS Digital is capable of processing over 35 lines of business and supports policy and premium management, claims and reinsurance processing, and management information and regulatory reporting.

Because WINS Digital is web-enabled, it provides insurers with a comprehensive and flexible means to connect with customers, employees, agents and other business-to-business providers worldwide. WINS Digital’s productivity and workflow-enhancing features include a Graphical User Interface that provides industry standard point and click capabilities and customizable drop down boxes, a customer-centric database, and automated risk evaluation based on company-defined rules.
