The St. Paul Companies announced that Michael Connly has been named Chief Information Officer. In his new post, Connly will be responsible for enterprise technology, applications development, operations, information security, and planning for Information Systems. The appointment is effective immediately.
“Mike’s experience in leading applications development at The St. Paul for the past few years has positioned him well for this new post,” Tom Bradley, Chief Financial Officer, commented. Previously, as vice president of applications development, Connly led a team of more than 300 employees and directed the development of systems for policy processing, underwriting, premium audit, marketing & distribution, and human resources. He and his team created and implemented a new strategy for providing agents, brokers and policyholders with policy, loss and billing information.
