HandySoft Corporation, a provider of business process management (BPM) software, and The Technical Resource Connection, Inc. (TRC), a wholly owned subsidiary of Perot Systems Corporation, plan to jointly develop comprehensive BPM solutions for the insurance industry.
TRC will offer solutions based on HandySoft’s BizFlow® Enterprise workflow software that delivers process improvement in several segments of insurance, including property and casualty. Insurance companies can benefit from process automation in many areas, including underwriting, policy administration, claims processing, and exception handling.
HandySoft’s BizFlow, a Web-enabled, enterprise-level process management engine, fulfills TRC’s need for service delivery, providing companies with productivity-enhanced solutions through collaboration, and simplification, automation, and integration of business processes. Efficient, easy-to-use, and flexible, the BizFlow solution has been implemented to automate policy and claims processes at several insurance institutions.
TRC provides insurance companies package solutions, system integration and development services, and consulting services focused on improving the way organizations automate inefficient business processes.
TRC’s initial focus will be to leverage the BizFlow product to implement packaged underwriting workflow solutions for multi-lines of business for P&C insurance companies and new business processing solutions for life insurance companies.
