Taliant Software, LLP announced that The Amerisure Insurance Companies, one of the nation’s regional property and casualty insurance groups, has officially gone live with their new multi-state workers’ compensation policy processing system using Taliant Software’s PowerComp®.
Amerisure and Taliant joined forces to deliver Amerisure’s new workers’ compensation processing system and are now working together to expand Taliant’s product into other commercial lines of business.
Dean Mihalicz, project manager for Taliant Software commented, “This is a big day for Taliant. We have officially implemented a multi-state production policy processing system. This project is the culmination of ten years of experience developing policy-handling systems for carriers and state funds writing between $30 million and $1 billion in annual workers’ compensation premium. We could not have met our criteria of on-time, on budget, and on-specs without the total commitment and hard work of the Taliant staff and the outstanding contributions made by our business partners at Amerisure.”
The Amerisure Companies’ Frank Petersmark, vice president of Information Technology, added, “This new system fully automates all aspects of our workers’ compensation processing, providing us with more functions and capabilities than we previously had, and a higher quality of information covering all aspects of our customers’ businesses. We believe the system will be a boost to both our productivity and our ability to support our customer service differentiation strategy.”
Amerisure and Taliant will now focus on bringing up Amerisure’s other commercial lines, starting with commercial auto.
