The Hartford Financial Services Group announced the appointment of Brian Becker as senior vice president, director of corporate law, and corporate secretary.
Becker will oversee the three groups that comprise the corporate law function: transactions, securities and capital markets, and technology. This position now integrates all of The Hartford’s corporate law functions enterprise-wide into one group.
Most recently, Becker served as vice president and associate general counsel at Hartford Life. He previously held various legal positions of increasing responsibility at Hartford Life and as an associate at Sorokin Sorokin Gross Hyde & Williams, P.C., of Hartford.
