The Public Entity Risk Institute (PERI) and the Public Risk Management Association (PRIMA) are teaming up to provide scholarships to up to 60 people to attend the PRIMA Annual Conference, May 18-21, 2003, in Reno, Nev. The application deadline is Feb. 22, 2003.
Recipients each receive $1,000 to be used for attending the conference, a discounted conference registration fee, and other benefits.
The aim of the PERI Small Entity Scholarship is to provide staff and officials of smaller local governments, school districts, and non-profit organizations with a valuable educational opportunity in risk management.
This is the sixth year that PERI and PRIMA have worked together to offer the scholarships.
