InsLogic Corporation (InsLogic) announced a strategic alliance with Ford Motor Credit Company and its licensed insurance agency subsidiary, American Road Services Company (Ford Credit), to build and operate Ford Credit’s personal lines insurance agency in the U.S.
Continuing on the program formerly underwritten by The Hartford, the Ford Motor Company Vehicle Insurance Program has been redesigned by Ford Credit and InsLogic to enable the sales and servicing of automobile and personal lines insurance products from multiple insurance companies to customers of Ford Motor Company. The new Program was launched in Ohio in April 2002 to serve Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury customers and currently is operating in 14 additional states. Thousands of insurance policies have been sold since inception.
The Program provides Ford customers with the means to receive multiple quotes from participating insurance companies, and to purchase insurance products that best suit their needs. Through the use of leading-edge technology and call center operations provided by InsLogic, customers make only one call toll-free to speak with InsLogic’s licensed insurance agents.
Travelers Property Casualty, The Hartford, the GE Auto Insurance Program, Esurance, and Infinity Insurance Companies currently are participating in the Program. As the Program continues to expand into additional states, Ford Credit and InsLogic will add more insurance companies, offer new insurance products in addition to personal automobile and homeowners’ insurance, and extend the Program to Volvo, Land Rover, Jaguar and Mazda customers.
