ConfirmNet Corporation, a supplier of online solutions for insurance certificate management, has been selected by ACORD to offer independent agents a free online tool to create and deliver certificates of insurance.
The offer is extended to members of ACORD’s Advantage Program, a service providing agents and brokers unlimited access to copyrighted blank ACORD Forms as well as value-added subscriptions to business tools and insurance publications. With ConfirmNet, ACORD Advantage members now can access a certificate of insurance via the ACORD web site, fill it out online, and print or deliver it via e-mail.
Susan Ousey, senior vice president of ACORD, noted, “The certificate of insurance is one of our most frequently used forms on our Web site. By working with ConfirmNet, our Advantage agents can leverage new technology to make these important document transactions more efficient.”
There is no additional cost to ACORD Advantage members for the certificate service. Agencies requiring more sophisticated certificate processing – such as customer self-service or batch renewals – need to become regular subscribers to ConfirmNet’s CertificatesNow service.
