The Hartford Financial Services Group has taken another step toward reducing duplicate entry for agents, introducing a bridge to enable users of Fiserv FSC’s WinFSC Comparative Rater to integrate their data directly to The Hartford’s Quote-to-Issue (QTI) Internet rating product. After a successful pilot, the bridge was introduced this month in California and Arizona.
Based on ACORD XML standards, the new bridge enables straight-through processing for auto insurance from Fiserv FSC’s WinFSC comparative rating product.
“Customers have come to expect an immediate response from an Internet rating product,” said George Thacker, senior vice president, personal insurance marketing at The Hartford. “The combination of the WinFSC Bridge and QTI makes it easier and faster for agents to issue the policy.”
“The QTI bridge is an excellent example of providing agents with tools to increase their ease of doing business,” added James Cook, vice president, sales and marketing, Fiserv FSC Inc. “Like The Hartford, Fiserv FSC continues to focus on developing technology that save agents time by eliminating the need to re- key information. The QTI bridge does just that.”
