Of course the NAII is against a Federal Insurance Commission – This is not Rocket Science! Why would they want the Federal Gov’t to oversee the ASTRONOMICAL rates they are FORCING onto the American Public, most specifically MIDDLE AMERICA. Let’s face FACTS. 43.6 MILLION AMERICANS ARE WITHOUT HEALTH INSURANCE. 6.8 MILLION ARE OUR CHILDREN (source: Nat’l Health Interview 2006). With stats such as this, a Federal Insurance Commission would have a RESPONSIBILITY AND OBLIGATION to the American public, to curb OUTRAGIOUS insurance premiums, which would hit the NAII right where it counts… their bottom line. To “REFORM” is to CHANGE something that already exists. The NAII has insisted that Insurance Reform stay with the individual states. NEWSFLASH: This process is BROKEN (hence the 43.6 Million Uninsured Americans). The NAII is only forwarding their own interest, with their own agenda, and care nothing for the individuals who financial suffer at their hand. It is time, and long overdue, to stop talking about this problem, and TAKE ACTION.
Our form of government was formed to protect the people. Many insurance co. take our money then tell us, sorry your / thats not covered. its time to put the health insurance co. under control. zip it up in the front .
