Electric Insurance Company recently began offering auto, home and personal umbrella protection though a select group of agents in six states.
“We are very competitively priced for the middle market by design. Our 35 years of service to General Electric in commercial and personal lines has given us the experience and infrastructure to provide excellent service to agents and their clients.” said Tena Melfi, vice president of Marketing and New Business Development at Electric Insurance.
Agents currently contracted with Electric Insurance use a web-based, real-time tool to quote and bind most policies.
“With our state of the market Web site, our agent partners can present accurate quotes in real time.” said Ang Renna, vice president of Information Technology at Electric Insurance. “We have been on the forefront of web development in the insurance industry and have been providing auto insurance quotes on-line since 1996. We are very excited about continuing our focus on technology to provide best in class service to agents” added Renna.
Electric Insurance (www.electricinsurance.com) is extending the agency product offering to selected, experienced agencies in Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Ohio, Wisconsin and Indiana, with plans to expand state availability in the future.
