Travelers Implements Automated Sign-On to Web Site for AMS System Users

October 9, 2003

Travelers Property Casualty Corp. reported that it is one of the first carriers to participate with AMS Services, Inc. in the implementation of Carrier Passport, an expansion of TransactNOW that provides automated sign-on and real-time navigation direct to Travelers’ agent Web site from within the workflow of AMS management systems.

Carrier Passport takes full advantage of TransactNOW’s single sign-on database of carrier IDs and passwords to automatically authenticate and guide users right where they need to be in a matter of seconds. Carrier Passport, combined with the e-service transactions already available with Travelers through TransactNOW, provides an uninterrupted workflow for agents to process business with Travelers and other insurance carriers, without ever leaving their agency management system.

“Travelers is a leader in providing real-time automation solutions for independent agents to help them achieve greater productivity and profitability,” said David Findley, senior vice president of Operations for Travelers Commercial and Personal Lines. “Our agency portal, Agent HQ, is rich with valuable tools for agents, so we are delighted to be one of the first to implement Carrier Passport, providing easier access to our Web site.”

“At AMS, we’re pleased to be working with Travelers on the roll-out of Carrier Passport,” added Dave Shea, president and CEO of AMS Services Agency Markets. “Instant navigation in and out of carrier Web site features from an AMS agency’s normal daily workflow provides an advantage for AMS and unmatched ease of doing business for participating carriers. Being one of the first to implement Carrier Passport is just another example of Travelers’ willingness to support independent agents through innovation.”
