Applied Systems, Inc. announced that State Auto Insurance is now using Applied’s new Web Bridge technology to offer real-time billing, policy and claim inquiries to agencies using The Agency Manager® and The Agency Manager® Vision Series™ software.
Web Bridge provides agencies with direct access from their agency management systems to information from a carrier’s Web site, without having to perform any additional data entry. Web Bridge is a tool that provides real-time agency-carrier interface, in addition and complementary to IVANS Transformation Station™ transactions. Now Applied agencies will be able to perform personal and commercial billing and claim inquiries and personal policy inquiries (depending on state) on State Auto’s website without exiting their agency management systems.
State Auto is a regional property and casualty company engaged primarily in writing both personal and commercial lines of insurance. The company markets its policies through more than 22,000 independent agents associated with approximately 3,400 agencies in 26 central and eastern states, excluding New York, New Jersey and the New England states.
