The National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies responded to President Bush’s State of the Union address Tuesday evening which addressed a number of issues, including litigation.
“NAMIC strongly commends the President for including protection from frivolous lawsuits for small businesses and doctors in his domestic policy agenda,” said David Winston, vice president-federal affairs. “We agree with him that this is a serious crisis and that it needs to be resolved. NAMIC looks forward to working with the
Administration to make this a reality.”
