EdChoice, Schinnerer’s program for small to mid-size colleges and universities, is now offering the Trustees, Officers, Management
and Employee policy to educational institutions in all 50 states. Coverage was previously only available in 15 states.
The policy features employment practices, E&O and management liability on one form. Coverage includes faculty, officers, employees, volunteers, student interns and graduate teaching assistants for errors or omissions in the discharge of their duties to the insured educational institution. The policy is available on a non-admitted basis.
Target risks for the program include public and non-profit private
universities with enrollments up to 10,000.
The program is underwritten by one of the CNA companies. CNA and Schinnerer have also teamed up to offer an admitted general liability policy in 15 states as well as other coverages such as auto and umbrella coverage.
