Millbrook Incorporated (www.millbrookinc.com) has been chosen by The Main Street America Group (www.msagroup.com) to provide technology and industry knowledge to implement broad, enterprise wide information initiatives.
These initiatives are designed to allow The MSA Group to use its data to improve reporting and access to key analytical information. The overall scope of the initiative will encompass the implementation of Millbrook’s data warehouse, data marts and complete suite of On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) tools. Included in this suite are analytical processing tools, dashboards highlighting key performance indicators, web report production capabilities, map-based visualization analytics and report production capabilities.
The project will span multiple phases, will cover most of the property and casualty lines of business, and will service all major business functions within the organization. The deliverables rolled out to the claims department trainers in late February 2004, and the trainers will subsequently be responsible for training the remaining claims staff. Subsequent phases will began in 2004, and focuses on the Commercial Lines premium and policy information. The Millbrook staff is currently working jointly with the MSA team to ensure that an effective knowledge transfer of the technology and product information will be accomplished.
