ACORD demonstrated their newly released ACORD Fillable Forms for the more than 2,000 attendees at 2004 ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum. The fillable forms will help to streamlines the agent information workflow.
The ACORD Fillable Forms require the ACORD Reader, available to members of several ACORD programs. Once members download and install the viewer, they can view and enter data directly on-screen. Then the completed form can be e-mailed, faxed, and printed.
Additional features of this new system include on-screen, pop-up instructions for all form fields based on the well established ACORD Forms Instruction Guide. Users also have the ability to provide “feedback” on the forms directly to ACORD from within the form itself.
“Our goal was to provide the same basic look, feel, and quality our members expect from us while integrating new technologies and making their workflows easier, faster and more efficient,” added Carolyn “Cal” Durland, manager, Member Relations, ACORD.
The forms, instructions, and additional information are available on the new ACORD Advantage Website at www.acordadvantage.org.
