Lloyd’s America has revealed exclusively to Insurance Journal that an investigation is currently underway for allegedly bogus umbrella trucking liability policies reportedly placed through the Oakland, Calif.-based broker Ambassador Insurance Services and/or GIO International of London, England.
Any retail insurance broker who believes they have obtained a Lloyd’s Umbrella Trucking Liability policy via Ambassador Insurance Services and/or GIO International should contact Lloyd’s immediately for verification of purported coverage.
Trucking companies holding a Lloyd’s Umbrella Trucking Liability policy obtained either directly or indirectly through Ambassador Insurance Services and/or GIO International should also contact Lloyd’s in order to verify the status of that coverage.
