Hilb Rogal & Hobbs Co. announced that its board of directors has appointed F. Michael Crowley to the position of executive vice president and national director for property/casualty effective immediately.
“HRH is a growing force within the insurance brokerage industry,” Crowley said. “The company has the talent and size to serve large corporate accounts and the local presence to deliver sophisticated products to businesses of all sizes. I’m excited by this opportunity to help HRH continue to expand, particularly its middle-market and risk management lines.”
Most recently, Crowley was vice chairman of Savannah, Ga.-based Palmer & Cay Inc., a large privately owned insurance broker. He began his insurance broking career in 1974 with Johnson & Higgins, serving in several senior management positions including senior vice president in charge of Virginia operations.
