Guy Carpenter & Company Inc. announced that Scott Whipp has joined the company’s Professional Liability Specialty Practice as a managing director and will lead its medical malpractice group and that Michael Bleisnick has joined the firm’s Retrocessional Specialty Practice as a managing director.
Whipp will be based in San Francisco and will report to Andrew Marcell, managing director and global leader of the company’s Casualty Specialty Practices. Bleisnick will be based in New York and will report to Adrian Stewart, managing director and global leader of the Retrocessional Specialty Practice.
Prior to joining Guy Carpenter, Whipp was the Facultative Healthcare practice leader and vice president of the casualty facultative department at General Reinsurance.
Bleisnick was executive vice president of the global specialty department of PXRE Reinsurance Company before joining Guy Carpenter.
