NIP Programs, a division of NIP Group, Inc. in Woodbridge, N.J., is expanding eligible snow and ice removal exposures for its industry-leading LandPro TreePro program effective immediately.
This broadened eligibility is available in six states: Connecticut, New Jersey, Oregon, Colorado, Minnesota and Massachusetts.
LandPro TreePro is a property and liability insurance program for landscapers and tree services, many of whom make their living during winter months performing snow and ice removal, a very difficult-to-place insurance risk.
David Springer, president of NIP Programs, said the change came about in response to requests from brokers.
“We are excited to finally have an opportunity to expand program eligibility for landscapers and arborists involved in the removal of snow and ice,” said Springer.
“By increasing program eligibility to include higher hazard exposures such as apartment complexes, condominium complexes and commercial offices, we are in position to meet the needs of most landscapers and tree services in the northern state,” he added.
He said NIP plans to offer the expanded program in additional states in the near future.
