The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) will hold an interim election at its Summer National Meeting to fill a vacancy left by the retirement of Secretary-Treasurer Eric Serna, who was also Superintendent of the New Mexico Insurance Division.
“We want to thank Eric Serna for his service to the NAIC and wish him well in his retirement,” said NAIC President Alessandro Iuppa. “The NAIC has a strong and committed team of officers and our membership has a wide range of talent and leadership from which to select a new Secretary-Treasurer.”
Pending the election, NAIC’s officers will handle the responsibilities of Secretary-Treasurer. The Summer National Meeting will be held June 10-13 in Washington, D.C.
