Peoria, Ill.-based Great Central, a member of the Select Markets segment of Argonaut Group Inc., has appointed Keystone Insurers Group of Northumberland, Pa., as a distribution partner in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Virginia.
The appointment of Keystone provides Great Central with a distribution channel for its Great Protector program in these target markets. The Great Protector program offers a tailored coverage package designed to meet the specific insurance and risk management needs of the Food & Hospitality, Religious and Other Institutions, and Specialty Retail industries. Great Central will offer this specialized package policy, along with commercial auto, umbrella, and workers’ compensation products, through Keystone’s select network of agents.
“Our affiliation with Great Central enables our franchised agents to access the premier target marketing carrier in the business,” said Joe Joyce, Keystone’s vice president of Property & Casualty and Programs. “Both our agents and their clients will benefit from Great Central’s specialized products and risk management capabilities.”
John W. Polak, President of Great Central, added, “Keystone Insurers Group will bring us a significant presence in Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Virginia. Keystone has an excellent reputation for providing outstanding service and professionalism to its customers and we feel privileged to partner with them.”
