    Hey Jimmy,

Yes, that must explain why Acordia/WFIS has grown more than 18 percent, while the other big brokers are losing market share.

Eat my dust, you mediocre producer, before I steal your accounts.

For any in our industry, this should have been a foregone conclusion when Acordia started making changes to the way in which it was doing business as early as 1999.

Once Acordia \”was purchased and became a part of Wells Fargo,\” it was only a matter of time before the name change would occur.

The REALLY important point here is: If Wells Fargo Insurance Services \”serves\” its customers the same way the financial institution serves IT\’S customers….none of us has anything to be concerned about.

    Thank God.

I think your talking about the APR Wells charges its credit card customers, not internal growth. If they grew that much why is there so much pressure to change things there? Your spending too much time with the bankers

The name change is to boost the customer perception of the banking side of the business, not to diminish the perception of the brokerage. The WF Banks need all the help they can get and the Acordia agencies I work with are very well run and have top producers. WFIS good, WFBS bad.

Yes, WFBS is so bad that the stock is on everyone\’s model portfolio for retirement.

Heres is my bet. In five years, Acorida will no longer be part of the bank. The reason is its small stuff, non-core and not part of their over all biz. Wf is so big and has so many silos that they will, in the long run, just run it into the ground by focusing on all the stuff thats not important to the customer and the producer.

Number One Producer needs a reality check & to do some research. Why was there 18% growth? Acordia should be respected as a brokerage, but to pair with WF? Bad choice & I agree that they will be split off as soon as WF gets a wild hair again. Their retirement model is to lay people off!

    Good Afternoon,
I am with a providers office , Community Nursing Center of Wakita in Oklahoma and we have a patient that said she had Accordia insurance. But through research I have found that Accordia changed to Wells Fargo. I am in need of someone to help me with finding her Medicare supplemental insurance; if she has one. I have a possible policy number for Accordia but i don’t know how that might change over to the Wells Fargo. Please help!
    Thanks Vanita
