The PLUS Foundation, the charitable arm of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society, has added two directors to the Foundation Board.
From San Francisco, Patrick Hanley, president of Socius Insurance Services (previously ECM), has more than 20 years of insurance industry experience. He began his career with American International Companies, and spent much of the nineties with Sweet & Crawford. Hanley specializes in directors and officers liability and professional and employment practices liability for publicly traded and privately held companies.
Edward Talarico, senior vice president and regional manager of AXIS Financial Insurance Solutions in New York has also joined as a director. Talarico previously held the same position for Kemper Insurance Co. and worked eight years in Chubb’s Executive Protection Department, where he began his insurance career. He has been an active member of PLUS since 2000 and is currently the PLUS Eastern Chapter Chair.
Both men will join the other seven Directors in leading the Foundation’s efforts to promote diversity and reflect the generosity of the professional liability community.
