McCann Communications has released Dragon Grip, a recap of the journal Kathy McCann wrote during the last few years of her husband’s life as he battled early onset Alzheimer’s disease.

An insurance industry professional, John Powers McCann was afflicted by Alzheimer’s at least seven years ago. In the beginning, he hid it from the world, even from himself. But, in time, the “dragon” took over his mind, leaving shattered remains in its place, according to his wife.
