For the 50th consecutive year, the Insurance Marketing and Communications Association (IMCA) has issued its Call for Entries for the IMCA Showcase Awards. The awards recognize the best of marketing communications in the insurance industry in order to encourage higher standards of excellence.
Last year’s Showcase Awards garnered a record 431 entries, with top winners including Fireman’s Fund, AMS Services, Foremost Insurance Group, Nationwide, Farmer’s and SAFECO Insurance.
The 2008 IMCA Showcase Awards feature 34 categories, including advertising, sales promotion, multimedia campaigns, TV/radio, the Internet, employee communications, annual reports, e-commerce, community service and public relations. It is open to all insurers, reinsurers, intermediaries, retail brokers and other insurance entities of all sizes in property and casualty, life and health, and other insurance sectors.
The awards are open to all insurance firms, not just IMCA members.

Winners will be announced at the IMCA annual meeting, June 8-11, 2008 at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherlands Plaza Hotel. The awards ceremony will take place June 10.
