oh pooooorrrr Travelers – No Risk – No Profit – they continue to non renew Florida policies at such a fast pace-I will never do business with them again on the personal lines side.
Mr FL Agent- Sorry, don’t blame Travelers, but blame your state’s Regulators. Insurance is like any other business in that if you can’t generate an adequate return on your capital, you simply find elsewhere to invest. You can’t blame them for non-renewing policies that they know will likely produce underwriting losses. Your state’s regulators need to allow carriers to choose their customers and rate to charge, and this free market system will ultimately produce a more competitive market for all.
If you’re going to blame Maurice Greenberg, Carl Icahn, and others for any/many of the failings of the industry, hey; why not include Randy-Sandy.
This guy is still racing like a Brooklyn (sic) street vendor looking to make his very first dollar. All that nonsense with rates, his crummy credit card offers, and that character Prince ! (what was putting that guy in charge all about? look at his paper: maybe qualified to manage a BMT mens toilet, but not a world-class corporation ! Shame on you Sandy. You’re pandering to him and others finally bit you on the butt !)
Gimme a break and call me one disgusted & fed-up shareholder
Do you hear me Warren ?
Get with the times, Smartie. Sandy and Citigroup spun off Travelers years ago.
