NAS Insurance Services Expands Abuse/Molestation Coverage

Encino, Calif.-based NAS Insurance Services has expanded its abuse/molestation legal expense insurance to include individuals, groups and businesses that sponsor events on their premises such as homeowner associations, property managers, land owners, etc.

Also covered are new entities such as mental health services, nursing homes, schools, churches, camps, school bus companies and community theatre/arts programs.

The policy is a reimbursement-only policy providing reimbursement of legal expenses and loss amounts up to $250,000/$500,000. Coverage is available nationwide, excluding the metro New York area and in Illinois. The policy is written through Lloyd’s of London, rated “A” by A.M. Best Minimum premium is $2,500. Minimum deductibles is $2,500.

Coverage also is available for limits higher than $250,000/$500,000, up to $1 million/$1 million, on a reimbursement form for legal expenses only.
