David J. Molitano has been appointed to the new position of technology errors and omissions (E&O) manager for XL Insurance, XL Capital Ltd’s global insurance operations, in the company’s Select Professional underwriting group. Molitano reports to Donald Allard, XL Insurance’s chief underwriting officer for Select Professional and is based in Boston.
Molitano joins XL Insurance from Beasley USA where he managed a book of miscellaneous, technology and media professional liability business. His professional career includes tenure in various underwriting and management positions with Lexington Insurance Company, Chubb, and The Hartford.
XL Insurance’s Select Professional group works with various brokers and wholesalers to address the E&O insurance needs of small to mid-size service providers including lawyers, consultants, TPAs, ad agencies, franchisers, real estate agents, insurance agents, and many other non-medical service providers.
