Austin, Texas-based insurance education provider, The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research, has selected Kathleen G. Speer as director of national business development for the not-for-profit organization. Speer will oversee the sales and business development relationship operations for all new and existing clients and partnerships, and develop in-house opportunities for The National Alliance.
Prior to joining The National Alliance, Speer was a home office underwriting consultant for FCCI Insurance Services in Sarasota, Fla., where her responsibilities included quality assurance reviews for 16 active states to comply with regulatory and legal standards and adhere to underwriting guidelines.
Additionally, over a span of 23 years, she held a number of management positions with Aetna Casualty & Surety Insurance Company.
