Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc. and executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles International Inc. have agreed to partner on a recruitment initiative to help attract a more diverse talent pool to MMC.

Under the agreement, Heidrick will give at least 10 percent of its work for MMC to women- and minority-owned executive search firms, and will also help these firms identify other opportunities where their services may be of assistance to the company.

Heidrick, in addition to providing access to candidates who are women, people of color, and gays and lesbians, will also assist with training for some of the women- and minority-owned search firms.
