Liability insurance underwriter Navigators Management Co., Inc. has partnered with American Bar Insurance Plan Consultants (ABI) to offer personal umbrella coverage for the more than 400,000 members of the American Bar Association (ABA).
Navigators said it has tailored a new personal umbrella policy for the ABA endorsement.
“In today’s marketplace, when the number of uninsured/underinsured drivers in the United States is growing, we felt ABA members should have this coverage available,” said ABI President J. David Andrews.
Bill Gatewood, Personal Lines executive for Navigators, said the ABA partnership expands his firm’s presence in the affinity marketplace.
The Navigators ABA-tailored umbrella policy is currently admitted in 33 states.
