The Navigators Group Inc.’s principal underwriting agency subsidiary, Navigators Management Company Inc., will expand its Nav Pro Professional Liability Division by partnering with Aon Affinity, a subsidiary of Aon Corp.
The expansion will make available nationally professional liability coverage to independent agents and agencies with up to $10 million in gross commissions.
The new Agency Advantage Program includes an incentive for early claim resolution, a broad professional services definition inclusive of teaching accredited insurance courses and expert witness activities, and expanded coverage offerings to include wholesalers, managing general agencies, and managing general underwriting firms.
Stacy Hoffman, vice president of programs, will have management responsibility for this book of business as well as other professional liability/errors and omissions programs produced by Navigators. Hoffman has managed program business for more than 20 years, including real estate E&O, accountants, insurance agents, public entity and dentists. She and her team are actively pursuing new professional liability program opportunities with managing general underwriters/agents who have demonstrated expertise in a specific class of business, solid distribution reach and the infrastructure to support the business, the company said.
