Great article. Thanks for getting the facts correct about what Triathlons are and the correct sports and distances.

I loved the artcile — more power to the agents that show this type of dedication to themselves and to their business.

Endurance and self-discipline are limited to the field of insurance?? I did not know that.

Ridiculous, feel good article with no substance. I want my 5 minutes back, IJ!

I once drank 5 martinis, then stumbled across 8 lanes of oncoming traffic to the next bar where I had a 3 greyhounds, after that crawled my way to another bar. Finally finished it off and with four white russians, then magically beamed my self to my home and woke up safely in my bed.

    Where’s my medal!!

I agree with hmmm – being mentally and physical sharp you will be sharp when meeting a new prospect or that new client, but you’ve got to take care of yourself as well or you are no good to anyone least of all yourself!! Kudos to those who have perserved and finished the race!!

Lighten up, Frankie. Nobody said endurance and self-discipline are limited to insurance. Maybe you’re just a wee bit jealous of these athletes?

    Sal,
Nothing but respect here! As a runner and cyclist I know 2/3rds of what a triathlete must go through to prepare for a race. And if I could swim more than just enough to save my life, I would enjoy the challenge of a triathalon, and consider it a success to just FINISH the race!

I just don’t like the way the article was written. I am entitled to my opinion, aren’t I?

More power to you, but I’m buying my insurance from the guy with the large Dunkin Donuts black coffee and the pack of Camels.

Ya I did one… make sure you train for the swim or else you’ll look like my dumb *** doing the snow angel move on my back trying not to drown (1/4 swim mile btw)! It was tough!
The best part of completing a sprint triathlon is hands down the beers afterward… oh ya and the sense of accomplishment.
