The New Jersey-based Arch Reinsurance Company announced that Tim Olson has been promoted to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of Arch Reinsurance Company. He will assume responsibility for the overall management of Arch Reinsurance Company.
Arch Re also announced that John Rathgeber, who had been serving as the Company’s Chairman and CEO, has been promoted to the newly-created role of Vice Chairman of Arch Worldwide Reinsurance Group, as well as Chairman of Arch Reinsurance Company.
Dale Vincent, formerly the Company’s Executive Vice President Specialty Casualty, was promoted to Chief Underwriting Officer, assuming overall responsibility of the Company’s underwriting policies and procedures.
Chairman and CEO Marc Grandisson praised Olson’s executive skills, adding that he would “provide strategic and leadership support to our global reinsurance operations. We have many group-wide projects ongoing, including possible opportunities to explore, and I believe that John will prove to be a great resource to all of us.”
