Very nice article about medical insurance industry. But you could get medical insurance for your entire family at the best price from http://bit.ly/7bwEx2 if you spent few mins you can find a good plan.

” “There has been a recent meteoric rise in the use of Schedule II drugs,” Swedlow noted.” I was expecting more elaboration on this, but the article just dropped it.
Like, do you suppose alot of these drugs are ending up re-sold on the street ? What percent and how much is it costing ?
What other reason would there be for such an increase in just this class of drugs ?
Maybe they need to investigate the docs and see if any have unusually high rates of prescribing.

Federal funding may be encouraging a move toward EHR, but there’s more to it than just installing systems. How can healthcare data pooling lead to a better system? More at http://www.healthcaretownhall.com/?p=1903

This is biased stuff. Paduda is difinately left leaning and obviously supports part of the “health care reform” Read his blogs and you will see.

Paduda is a talking head for nationalized health care. Probably a DNC operative.

An absolute joke for actuarial science. He should stick to taking orders at the local fast food place. At least he’d have some independent thinking such as how many condiments to put in the bag.

When did IJ stop looking at things from a place of reality. This is the worst legislation in the history of our nation.
Not to mention it is unconstitutional to make someone purchase any product from a private entity. Dont say car insurance because you are not required to own a car it is priviledge to drive not a right. You dont have a choice with health insurance. UNCONSTITUTIONAL not that Obama or congress cares.

We need a bit of middle ground opinion-wise. Seems that many comfy right leaners forget those who have lost their insurance, will lose it, and those who are unable to get it, much less afford it. As a small biz owner I’ve grown tired of rising premiums year after year and I think it has much to do with the 30 million or so uninsured. I also like the idea that folks won’t face bankruptcy if the worst should happen. Give Obama credit for having the guts to deal with this; I’m sure he would have preferred to spend more time on other pressing issues left behind from our prior admin.
