    This statement (which I assume is serious) reflects what’s wrong with society. Namely, the idea is that “government” is some sort of god-like entity that is apart from and above “the people” and that has magic powers not possessed by individuals or groups of individuals working together in a free market. The notion that Obama can “do something” about the BP oil leak is absurd; and the same holds true for any other politician, bureaucrat Republican or Democrat.

    I bet you blamed Bush for Katrina, Huh…
    Funny how the remarks by Ray Nagin after Katrina got wide publicity from the elite media. Katrina was Bush’s fault but the man made oil leak that Obama has declined help with for 73 days, but finally he accepted yesterday is not his fault.
