I wouldn’t think that the attorneys’ issues have been caused from a drop in lawsuits. I believe they interviewd the wrong lawyers. Firms that have turned law into “marketing” are probably prospering.
Ms. Wade is over reacting about social media. Certainly one should not reveal client confidences, secrets, strategies, etc., whether online or in person. However, to be afraid of saying anything in social media about the kind of work one does is just paranoid.
