American Safety Insurance has launched an enhanced version of its EnviroStar policy, which combines common coverages for environmental professionals into one form.
“The form changes are in response to feedback from our annual customer roundtable and our daily interactions with our wholesale distribution network and will allow us to be more competitive with the newer entrants to the market,” said Preston Starr, vice president of Environmental Underwriting at ASI.
Producers will find that the newer forms are more concise and clear. Highlights include:
- Mold as a covered operation and available on an occurrence form
- Claims expense outside the limits on contractor’s pollution and commercial general liability coverages
- Punitive damages covered where insurable by law
- Coverage available for non-owned disposal sites on a scheduled and/or blanket basis
ASI is rated “A” by A.M. Best and offers general liability, contractor’s pollution liability and professional liability coverages on both an admitted and non-admitted basis. Limits of up to $11 million are available, with minimum premiums beginning at $2,500.
