Ironshore Inc. named Tracey Sharis as specialty casualty unit as vice president.
Sharis will be responsible for expanding Ironshore’s distribution of retail and construction insurance programs within the United States. She will also work closely with the Ironshore retail Specialty Casualty and IronBuilt teams to enhance marketing and product development initiatives, reporting to Ben Beauvais, head of IronBuilt and senior vice president of specialty casualty.
Most recently, Sharis was a managing director and senior vice president at Aon Benfield within the facultative reinsurance group. She was also with AIG’s Lexington Insurance Co. for more than 11 years, where she served in various capacities in both the property and casualty areas.
Ironshore Specialty Casualty offers coverages to serve various industry classes, including manufacturing, energy, transportation, agriculture and commercial construction, among others. Coverage is available on an occurrence, claims-made, retained amount, and integrated occurrence basis.
