So they finally got caught! When I was a young underwriter in Dallas in the early 1980’s, a coworker came to us from AIG. He talked about putting WC on the package policy so they could apply the package credits to that line of business too.

I’m afraid this underscores what AIG has been about for decades. The list of bad behavior by this company and its affiliates is almost endless. First, they were caught bid rigging with Marsh Mc and later all the sub prime mortgage mess leading to their bailout to the tune of $180B which they still owe $80 billion of our tax dollars. I wonder if they paid this $146 Million with our money as well. They are truly a despicable company.

Even more frightful, Agent, is the primary culprit in setting up this environment is now engaged with a competitor and is suing AIG!
He needs to be thrown in jail…forever.

Well Guy, AIG has given the insurance industry a bad name for many years. They were so big they thought they were invincible and thought they could do whatever they wanted. Their senior management made all the major decisions to do these things. There has been some blood letting in recent years and they have changed out their CEO several times, but I don’t know if the culture at the company has changed much. They still owe all that money and then come out and talk about acquiring operations. Hello? Pay us back first and then talk about expanding.

And think of AIG’s employees who have lost their jobs because of AIG’s shennigans including sending more and more job to Manila and other countries. Try to explain why they lost their in interviews!!

Every so often I see an article about them seeking to acquire an operation for expansion. Hello AIG! You owe us $80Billion. How are you able to acquire another operation if you owe all this money? Perhaps JP Morgan will give them a loan since we know how smart they are on investments.
